Osteopathy is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a range of medical conditions. Osteopaths use hands on manual techniques to restore abnormal structure and function within the body. This treatment involves manipulation of joints, muscles, ligaments and other connective tissues in order to alleviate symptoms and maximise bodily function.
Osteopathy uses the body’s own healing mechanisms and enhances them. Treatment is aimed at removing the cause of a problem, not just covering up the symptoms it produces. Bobby is also trained in western acupuncture, which he can incorporate into his treatments.
An initial osteopathic consultation lasts ¾ hour – 1 hour. This will consist of a case history, examination and treatment.
Follow-up treatments last 30 minutes.
Payment can be made by Cash, Cheque or BACS. Unfortunately we are currently unable to accept card payments for osteopathic appointments.
